- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Kirby Smart: TCU has ‘similarities’ to Georgia team culture, acknowledges defensive struggles
ATHENS — Kirby Smart’s takeaway on TCU is that the Horned Frogs belong in the national title game for much the same reason as his Georgia Bulldogs.

Bring some blitzes. Pull out of some blitzes. You can't just sit back and let the qb throw dimes with 4-5 seconds.
Also, do something about the holding in that game. Put some lawyers on the NCAA or something. Ohio State got away with A LOT of holding. Go watch the second to last play where Stroud runs to put them in position for the kick. They tackle Jalon Carter, drag him to the ground.
Our guy coming off the edge got pushed in the back so as being unable to put on the brakes as Stroud went around him right in front of everyone. But somehow it wasn't a block in the back?
TCU maybe doesn't get to play for a NC if the refs called targeting on that play at the end of the game. I understand you don't want the refs determining the game when it was over for all practical purposes but you know if that hit was against BAMA what happens.
These were the reasons that Stroud had 5 or more seconds to complete a pass.... we sacked him four times even with all the holding and almost had him four more times. Once the guys miss because he eluded them because of the angles that they were taking, then there were more seconds added which gave their very good receivers time to get open.
If the holding on Carter for example had been called more, the outcome probably would have been a lot different. He was held virtually every play by sometimes each blocker in a double team. THAT is why he seemed so gassed at the end....frustration at being held.
Plus the injuries to N. Smith and now Chambliss and Beal put a lot of relatively inexperienced outside LBs trying to rush the passer with probably a little less control than our more experienced backers.
I think that if Chambliss and Beal aren't 100%, our coaching staff will coach up those less experienced backers and there should be a big difference this game in containing the QB! And our experienced secondary will make the plays they are supposed to make!!
Go Dawgs!
