TCU leading rusher Kendre Miller ‘questionable’ for National Championship Game against Georgia
One of TCU’s top offensive weapons may not be able to play against the Georgia Bulldogs in the 2023 National Championship Game, as TCU head coach Sonny Dykes stated that running back Kendre Miller is questionable with a knee injury.

How bad was the holding in the Ohio State game. Go look at the tape. It was very terrible. Even the play where Stroud runs to put them in that last kicking spot to win the game. They tackled Jalon Carter to the ground. It was the entire game. That ref should be fired.
@jdatl3
Yes, it was bad.
Really, REALLY bad.
I just finished watching the game for the 3rd time this morning, and just in the second half alone, every time Stroud escaped the pocket and ran and they showed a replay of it between plays, you could see an OSU lineman with arms extended and a handful of Jersey in one or both hands and it would usually last between 1 and 3 seconds. And the refs called 1 hold against OSU in the ENTIRE second half.
That is completely unacceptable. Coach Smart and the SEC commissioner that meet weekly have to address that before next Monday night’s game. I know it’s closed door and not public but that is IRRELEVANT.
Thats next level incompetency right there.
And I’ll tell you something else that’s disturbing from that game and the earlier game by the Refs:
These refs don’t miss a beat when throwing a flag if a DB or SAF or LB barely makes contact (without even grabbing) a wide receiver or TE and the football is thrown their way. They clearly have been taught and practice throwing their flag on the defense and worry about “picking up the flag” with the Head referee if they change their minds. SAME THING with targeting! They will throw that flag in a second if there is any type of hit above a players belly button! It’s gotten FAR out of control.
AND YET, you can have O-Lineman and TE’s CLEARLY grabbing and stretching defenders jersey’s almost a 1/2 foot off the defenders bodies AND NOWHERE INSIDE OF THE SHOULDER PADS(the only place it’s legal) and these refs are not EVER looking for that.
They are too busy looking to throw a penalty for targeting or too busy looking to see if the defender barely touched a WR during a pass play even though MORE THAN HALF OF THE TIME the Offensive player is the one INITIATING CONTACT!!!
It is dreadful how bad these refs have been about holding calls during championship weekend!
I bet you will see at least 5 holding calls missed in the second half of that game against OSU.
That type of thing cannot happen in Playoff game competition.
Period.
oh, and before I forget: Marvin Harrison stepped out of bounds in the end zone prior to catching that football and getting walloped by Bullard. You can see it clear as day on the replay. By rule, he can’t be the first person to touch that ball so it should have been an illegal touching penalty, loss of down and a 10 yard penalty. Oh, and the line Judge at the back of the end zone was standing less than 4 yards away and his primary job in red zone plays is to watch for that. Another example of incompetence. Harrison puts one of his feet entirely and clearly on the white when coming back and adjusting to that wounded duck ball Stroud threw that Fowler and Herbstreit were praising.
Yet, of course, the refs didn’t call that. They were too worried about the (Oh No, a physical LEGAL tackle) TARGETING penalty that MAY have occurred! And the id1ot broadcasters Herbstreit and Chris Fowler(both dunces) didn’t care enough to see that obvious penalty as well! Nor did they see the 12 men on the field as they snapped the ball for their fake punt attempt.
Lots of blatant incompetence from the refs and the color commentators for the entirety of that game. You can gloss over a call here or there because they are “human”. But over a half dozen obvious errors from this team of refs who are supposed to be “professionals” and “cream of the crop” for a Semi-final college football game viewed by over 24 MILLION people!?!?!
Truly pathetic.
Wow, preach on, Brother!!!! Don't hold back! 🤣
That was so well said that this has got to be the best post of the year!!! and I don't care if this is only January 3rd!!!
Well done!
YES, I saw all that too. Very poor officiating, especially the holding. We MUST get fair officiating for the NATTY. GO DAWGS!!!
