He's always came across as very respectful and friendly when interviewed. In fact, most of these guys seem that way. That's great to see. A good attitude goes a long ways!

    GO DAWGS!

One thing, I'm mildly concerned about, is...that last year, Nakobe Dean dropped 3 rounds, because of an injury "rumor". Which kind of shocked me at the time.

I wondered how an organization as large and powerful as the NFL, could make a pivotal decision based on unconfirmed rumor.

Dean was one of the best LBs (if not "The Best") in the '22 draft. Expected to go in the 1st half of the 1st round. Yet every team passed on him at least twice, before Philly's staff dispelled the rumor and wound up drafting one of the best rookie defenders to play in the '22 NFL season. And, he's still going, all the way to the Super Bowl. Lol

Will rumors of injury, cost McIntosh? I guess that remains to be seen.

I wouldn't say he was one of the best rookie defenders of 2022. He wasn't even the most productive rookie UGA linebacker in 2022 (Quay Walker). Outside of 2 games (15 and 12 snaps), he never played more than 5 snaps on defense in any game. He didn't play a single snap on defense in 11 games. In the other 10 games he played, he has only played 16 snaps total. He has, in all his ST and defensive snaps, only recorded 13 tackles, 1 TFL, and no sacks. There are at least 8 rookie LB with better numbers and more contributions on the field, possibly more.

He has played a bit on special teams, but that is not defense.

Dean plays ILB...Walker is OLB. But, yeah...if you are going by the numbers, Dean was middle of the pack...but, as a true ILB he had a positive impact on virtually every play, he was on the field. It's his job to ensure the front 7 is lined up properly and every offender is accounted for, especially, in the nickle and dime. He calls the plays. Same with Davis as far as impact, IMO.

The Eagles are in The Show, so I'm guessing, they were used appropriately.

Did McClendon play? I saw something to the effect that he did not but nothing confirmed.
