- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Georgia softball sleeping giant must soon awaken, gain momentum in pivotal 2023 season
ATHENS — Georgia softball is traditionally known as a fantastic finisher with five trips to the Women’s College World Series including three of the past six held annually in Oklahoma City.

Did one of the players mother write this?
Poor Jaiden Fields, having to trudge onward through such a difficult situation and horrible surroundings. I just don't know how she does it.
@georgiajeepn2019 Not sure what your beef is with the column? Feedback is welcome --- this Georgia team is loaded, but there's work to be done and the coach needs a big year. That should be your takeaway -- some really great talent.
Not your typical column. You spend the first part praising them and explaining how great they should be but then the last portion you explain how they failed last year at the end and have playing Oklahoma and Texas to look forward to after this season. I hope that great talent comes forward this year. Seems like none of the minor sports perform at a high level anymore.
I thought it was a good column and I’m in agreement that the program has the potential and should have the expectation to win at the highest level. As Mike points out, there is simply too much talent in the state of Georgia to expect anything less. Not saying they have to have a dynasty like the Gym Dogs under Suzanne Yoculan, but this is a program that has largely underperformed, yet should be able to throw us a non-revenue sports championship bone every once in a while.
