DawgNation is owned by AJC. After today's tweet, I'm seriously considering no longer coming to this site.
I think it has been explained elsewhere that DawgNation is no longer owned by the AJC, but a sister company under a common parent. So, the two are somewhat independent.
F the AJC. Too bad we can't tie them to FU somehow so I could combine all (or at least some) the hate together.

You are welcome to reach out to @DawgNationDaily and tell him to quit **** footing around about the matter and call these writers out for their BS.
For anyone interested, Brooks Austin absolutely eviscerated the AJC in general, and this particular "reporter" specifically on his podcast last night.
Its true that Kirby didn't take direct responsibility for the actions the young people took that led to the tragedy - which was appropriate because if he was directly responsible, then he would deserve to be fired at minimum. What is implied by the Tweet is that he feels no accountability whatsoever for what the people associated with the program do, which is completely different and as @ForestryDawg quoted, is the opposite of what he said.
It is about clicks in this era but the press has always done this same kind of thing with misleading headlines generating various sorts of visceral reaction to ***** people into buying the paper or magazine. To me its deceptive, manipulative, and annoying.
Some people want real news even if its boring - some people want exciting news even if its fake. Most press indulge the latter, because regardless of the ethic, its what drives the dollar.
Not clicking on click bait headlines is probably the best recourse for those of us that like real news.
