ATHENS — Darnell Washington needed to clear a few things up at Georgia’s Pro Day on Wednesday.

I disagree that Darnell played a “lesser” role. Just because he didn’t have the yards that Brock did doesn’t mean he wasn’t still a critical part of the team’s success. He may not have gotten as much attention, but I loved watching Darnell work.

Nothing "lesser" about Darnell. This guy was always "more"! More for his team, more for his fans, more for his family. What a great contributer to the sport of football. He deserves to be in any NFL locker room. All the best to him!
I love that he was a team player and that he was willing to put in the dirty work at being a blocker. Although his numbers may not represent an All-American tight end, if you watched him play, you realize that he was and he helped make the offense click. He was who UGA needed him to be.
