Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Win 1 over #24 Aggies.
More meh…
Down 3-1, the Dawgs comeback to get the enormous home win over the #18 Vols.
Game 1 is an L.
So you are advocating for a coach whose name you don't even know (there are 2 Head coaches now, by the way)? Do you think the cupboard was left bare by Bauerle or that the current coaches that you don't know (both who formerly swam for and coached with Bauerle ) stepped into the job totally unaware of what they were facing? UGA recruits these athletes on its reputation for sports and academic excellence and charges non-athlete studetgns a pretty penny to be part of an all around univerity so why shouldn't we alumni expect excellence for the contributions we provide year in and year out?
I'm advocating for patience.
2nd W gets the series W against the #24 Aggies in College Station.
Second L of the series loses the SEC opener for Dawgs. Rally tomorrow and don’t let them sweep.
Fair enough! One of my interesting brushes with "fame" is that one of my college roommates is the son of Pete Scholle who coached Jack Bauerle in the 70's. We were groomsmen in each others' weddings and still see each other regularly. Coach Scholle did a stint as a basketball coach at a small university somehwere in SC before retiring.
Dominant W over #8 Auburn!
The Dawgs get the sweep in College Station!
Embarrassing.
I wouldn’t expect an accolades, but the invitation is nice. We finished last in our group in the SEC tournament.
fingers crossed.
New Rankings for the Men's and Women's Tennis Teams:
ITA has the women at #4.
Here are some of the results from this past weekend per UGA Track and Field:
Leah Anderson (women's triple jump), the Georgia women's 4x100-meter relay team, Zoe Pollock (women's 400m hurdles, Dominique Mustin (57.39) for second), Caleb Cavanaugh (men's 400m), Charlotte Augenstein (women's 800m), Clay Pender (men's 800m) and Christopher Morales Williams (men's 200m) all left Atlanta by finishing first out of their collegiate competition.
Another career best came from graduate transfer Julia Harisay during her second season with the Lady Bulldogs. She shot from 10th to seventh in the school record books with a fourth try in the discus that measured 49.75m/163-2. This earned Harisay a fifth-place finish.
Also of note, freshman heptathlete Ella Rush earned third-place honors in the high jump after clearing 1.68m/5-6 on her second try and Haley Tate clocked a 55.61 for third in the 400m. In the men's race, Caleb Cavanaugh also returned from scoring at indoor Nationals and was the runner-up in the men's 400m with a 47.42.
They aight.
The girls swept a Top #25 team on the road and hardly moved. Something ain't right.
hey, just keep winning and it will all shake out just fine, right? Polls are, in my mind, even worse than selection committees.
Not bad…
