Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:

- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Kirby Smart finds 2023 Georgia football motivation on New Zealand rugby pitch
ATHENS — Kirby Smart has shown time and again he’s willing to go to great extremes to find things that will help his Georgia football team win games.

I love it! Coach Smart knows what he is doing and will have the dawgs ready to compete at a high level come September.
@MikeGriffith thanks for this. It’s really great to see how those young men are being mentored.
Kirby Smart has a genius for making his players the best that they can be. Now, he's absorbing the culture of the All Blacks who are a standard all by themselves. No Rugby team has won more games or championships than they. Georgia is the standard in college football now and they are getting better every year. Kirby is cultivating an attitude that we are the hunters never the hunted, and this is what separates us from the pack. I'm proud to be a Bulldawg!!!
As an adopted New Zealander (moved here 28 years ago) I am pleased to see rugby get some attention in the US! As an aside, Dabo Swinney talked about the All Blacks a few years after meeting their coach and reading his book...
IMO...A Coach can't "make" anybody, do anything.
The first step, is finding the right people,..."Coaches & Players"...with a "like-mindset". "Qualified" People, determined and willing to submit to being coached and molded, in order to achieve Greatness...or, as close to it as they can possibly get. And, you have to find 20 or 30 new ones...every year.
Kirby Smart has proven to be, among the "absolute best", at identifying that trait and facilitating and nurturing it's growth and development within the organization. He has wayyy more "hits", than "misses"...which is why he doesn't "sweat it", when a couple of former 5 star players decide to transfer...."UGA's not for Everybody"...and Everybody is not for UGA.
If you have some natural talent...and you're willing to "eat off the floor" to get better...you have a strong burning desire, to "be the best"...you value your time in the Classroom...General Smart is looking for a Few Good Men. Lol
Great Coach...Great Organization...Great People!!! Go on ahead Dawgs...do your thing. UGA is redefining some "terms & narratives", and they're just getting started.
