His tape looks amazing. Great speed and good hips for a tall guy. Not sure how he isn't a 5 star. Got another gem.
Awesome news! I could smell the jet fuel just watching the video! Welcome to the Dawg family young man! Keep working hard and be ready to win some championships! Let's go!
Those across the field cutbacks were awesome but he won't do many of those in the SEC! Looks great though!
WOw! WOW! Wow! At that size he is inscredibly shfty! NOw that's what I'm talking about! A game breaker!
Yeah. It's difficult to tell how good he actually is against what look to be pretty week defenses. He's just having his way in those clips. Let's hope he continues to shine among other superb athletes at IMG.
I'm thinking that if he is developed and shines at IMG, he'll get a star or two more....I'm shocked ND didn't show any interest, we stole Nitro right outa the Irishes backyard!
At this pace, Kirby is going to at least equal Sabans natties. It is going to be an amazing and unbelievable next decade and a half. Raiola next?
Looks like a young AD Mitchell.
Not that I'm going to...but, if you want to know "how good that is"...compare it to his peers in that league, against mutual opponents. I don't know if that league has any 4 or 5 star players.
George Pickenish with much more wiggle.
The problem is that, against the guys he was playing last fall, the only person who could have beaten him was himself (at least in those clips). It's sort of like trying to figure out how good the Bulldogs are when they play Samford.
But this year, if he gets a lot of game reps at IMG, it'll be easier to see how he stacks up against real competition.
His run after the catch is as good as any receiver we’ve had that wasn’t 5’9” you can’t hide talent when it’s leaping off the screen at you. I’d put him up against anyone one on one and take all bets!
Yeah...I get what your sayin'.. "UGA vs Samford"...Lol, good analogy. But, one thing's for sure...the cream always rises to the top...no matter the league. You could've used TCU in that analogy, as well, BTW. Lol
That being said...I realize being "the best" up there...doesn't translate to being "the best" down here. It's a good sign, though. Apparently he has the tools...and, moving to IMG, bodes well for his competitive nature and desire to "be coached".
I like the surface intangibles on this kid. We'll have to keep an eye on him next year. I have a feeling, he may rise to a 4 or 5 star ATH or WR before the end of 2023. It's been done.
This kid will play well above any three star rating. He has a skill set that is hard to define.
