Bear saw Jordan Hall this winter and spring, and had a vision of the bench…

All kidding aside Jordan may be the next big thing along with Jarrett. I think Jarrett is going to take a year or 2 to get in better shape (aka Jordan Davis) but he can be used at certain points this year where it makes sense. Hall could have a bigger impact earlier. It really just depends on how badly he wants it. Bear is a day 1 or 2 guy most likely so it is tough to lose him. We really needed a disruptor in the interior so hopefully, Christian, Stack, Logue, Jefferson, Walthour, or Brinson are up to it. We definitely have depth but against the better teams can any of these guys be dominant? Bear was suppossed to be that guy. It's a darn shame.

The challenge is out there now for the other guys to step up. Can they do it?

With Alexander’s sudden move into the portal & Thomas observing the game from the sidelines, it’s obvious that the slow start on defense & Coaches being far less colorful on the field, we’re possibly due to a healthy dose of tough love taking place Saturday.

R Robinson looked good, too, IMO. No breakaways, but he hit the line hard and fast. He seemed to have good vision and was hard to bring down. Lower center of gravity than I'd realized.

As we move to the expanded 9-SEC game schedule and the 12-team playoffs, the teams with the healthiest and deepest talent on their rosters will be the ones still standing come January. I think a little lady luck is going to be crucial in taking home a National championship starting in 2024.

Lady luck is crucial for every team that has ever won the Natty. Emphasis on every and ever.

Have we gotten anything like a good impression or sense of what Thomas is actually bringing? I'm not asking this rhetorically.
