Kirby Smart and the Georgia football program exited G-Day with unmistakable momentum on Saturday.

A very good G day. Lots of positives to build on going into the season. That being said, someone need to tell Vandergriff to stop squatting before the snap. He's telegraphing the snap.
I agree. I was wondering if that might be called a pre-snap motion penalty.
@UGADad20 I will pass that along !!!
Griff has huge upside and I hope he stays.
That being said our team is lights out. I really feel bad for the teams that have to play us this year.
My biggest questions are what is our ppg total this year and does Beck win the Heisman?
Also, how many Freshman All Americans do we end up with? (Big B, AJ, Aguerro?, Lucky)
Does Brock win the Mackey again? Do we also win the Butkus?
How many All Americans first and second team (Mykel, Starks, Pop, Van Pran, Bowers, Beck, Lovett, Tater, Lassiter)
So maybe 4 teams can beat us if we play our worst game and they play their best game. I just don't see it.
Three Peat Baby!
Great list, @MikeGriffith, though I still think "Stock Even" is just a euphemism for Stock Down. ;-)
I'd also put Gunner's G-Day in the same category as Brock's G-Day (Stock Up) -- maybe even replace there. Truth is Vandagriff only met my expectations, and I was slightly disappointed because I wanted him to exceed them. But I thought Gunner did exceed expectations even though he was only going against the second D; he basically made the case that he's close to ready to being the second string QB if Vandagriff does go.
I'd give a "Stock up" for Gunner as he did well... if not better than Vandagriff. Mews was definitely a big standout - I look forward to seeing him play in the games.
Lots of good solid football. I was awe struck with this little guy Mews! This, I believe, walk-on, is a baller. He can fly. Good hands and quick moves. In an interview, he said he is a "grinder." Coach Smart is a defensive genius, he also mentioned. I had not even heard of this kid. Hope he sees more field time.
I have been a Vandagriff fan. On G-Day he looked almost spooked. Seems he was looking to leave the pocket on nearly every down? I was impressed with that 23-yd run. He can move but appeared to rush plays. As someone mentioned, squatted prior to the snap.,,dead giveaway...and could be penalized for movement. Threw some good balls but not with the finesse of Beck. Beck won the QB competition on G-Day. Arrow straight bombs and some squeeze targets as well as wheels and cross routes. Good check downs. He was cool, calm and efficient. Held the pocket. Snapped the ball out quickly. Not as athletic as Brock or Gunner. Gunner reminds me of Stetson. Scrambler. If he hangs with UGA, he will be a future starter.
Loved G-Day!!
