I'm over it. He walked away from the opportunity to be a part of history. Best wishes to him.

In an ESPN article about him, he said UGA wanted him to be a third down player for pass rush, but he wants to be, and thinks he has the ability to be an every down player. Says he'll get that at USC.

    Bear quote from ESPN:

""I feel as if there wasn't a significant amount of snaps [at Georgia]," Alexander said about why he entered the portal. "I was more of a pass-rush specialist in year one, so coming into the spring, I wanted to be in a position where I could show my versatility as a player. I felt like I wasn't able to do that at Georgia. I was a third-down specialist, and I'm more of a first-, second-down player. I can play every down."

By his own words, interpreting, the issue was others above him that he didn't want to fight through. (Plus the money probably.)

I couldn't care less about this selfish player. He supposedly got into a fight with team mates-NOT a team player. You need to cut out the cancer for the team to thrive.

@EricDawgs21, as an educated "Proud Southerner" you can take your Confederate comments and go join Bear somewhere else.

The portal giveth and the portal taketh away. We can all wonder what might have been but, no one should lose sleep on any of those transferring out. If they don't want to be here.... get out. This program is in now in a position to be picky not only about talent but also about "fit" in the locker room. Based on the comments I have seen, Bear was not a "fit". His comments reflect a sense of entitlement. He is complaining about not getting enough snaps on a team full of talented players that had put in their work over the years and earned it ahead of him. The kid was a freshman but sounds like he thought he could show up and take snaps away from others who put in the work based on his star status. Is it surprising that he chose USC - a team that ranked 117th in defense nationally last year? Big fish. Little pond. Limited work required to get on the field.

Another thing to consider is we're still over on scholarships. CKS and company know what they're doing, attrition has to take place, there's only so much room at the inn....

Plenty of African American men were also Confederate soldiers. Funny how easily some forget this FACT..🙄
