Tough day for Scott Stricklin, who stuck around with the promise of facilities .... but that's the way the game is played these days.

Stricklin "stuck around?" Did he have a bunch of (undeserved) job offers of which I was unaware?

Maybe he felt he still had a job to do or a goal to reach and is the type of coach who feels he should "finish the drill" ?
