That is a pretty tough schedule. Only thing making it easier is Florida, Auburn and Oklahoma are down from what they usually are. A lot can change in a year though. LSU at home looks like a playoff game. That vaunted recruiting class for Texas A&M will be juniors and Aggieland is tough place to play. Oklahoma will be no cake walk either.

The new reality is you are going to need 2 teams to make it through this gauntlet regardless of whether it is 8 or 9 games. Need to keep recruiting those big uglies. More big guys Kirby, more big guys!

Connor, I like your thinking and salivate over a conference schedule like the one you propose that finally deserves respect. Add in Clemson, and we would have a SOS that should be one of the highest-rated in the nation. Bring it on!!

That is one tough honking schedule. Both LSU and A&M, along with Oklahoma and Clemson make for a brutal run. My bet is that Florida and Auburn are much improved by then and there really isn’t an easy catch your breath game. That is why the SEC crown remains the toughest to capture and then move into playoffs. Great to be 2-3-deep at key positions and hoping the DAWGs keep it rolling. Go DAWGS

It is so freaking obvious the FL game should be played in Athens every other year... it kills are home schedule and has for way to may decades...

16 team conference with only 3 conference home games for UGA is utterly disgusting and repulsive...folks you are being taken to the cleaners paying your Hartman fund donation every year plus tickets fees for what this years home schedule and next years. Dr. Jere Morehead and the Athletic Administration are laughing all the way to the bank on your backs fools.

UGA grad 93, love my Dawgs for 3 hours every Sat in the Fall but I have not given a penny to UGA in 15 years and this was the a great decision for me and my wallet.

The SEC has become joke... all they care about is taking your hard earned dollars

After reading this article it appears the '24 schedule was in such a state of flux while the SEC plays the negotiation game w/ ESPN for the 9th SEC game. The UGA administration decided to take one last money grab (Jax '24&'25) before finally caving to pressure to make UGA/FU home and home.

IF the series is extended in Jax beyond '25 shame on UGA for lining their own pockets and not helping Athens, State of GA and CKS.

I like this schedule, but I would substitute Columbia, South Carolina for Columbia, Missouri. Though a road game, it would be a lot more fun for BOTH Georgia and SC fans. And since SC is coming to Athens this year, it won't be a problem to pay them a return visit. Go Dawgs!

Not taking other teams’ schedules into consideration, this is what I think (and why:)

    Tradition/Borders: UF/Auburn/SCarolina/Tennessee/Vandy

    Been a while: A&M/Oklahoma/Texas

    NO in ‘24(and most recent matchup:) Ole Miss/Mizzou/Kentucky ‘23; MissSt./ LSU/Bama ‘22; Ark ‘21
