Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I guess he changed his mind
Are you lost or in the wrong time zone?
Nope, are you lost? It’s June 30th, past 1pm, and haven’t seen a post by Jeff or any other recruiting website that he has committed to UGA. 247 even took down his commitment time…so I ask again, did he change is mind on the date or waiting until real late tonight.
WELCOME HOME Big Mike....you would have been a great OT at any of the schools chasing you....but it was obvious that you wanted to become an ELITE NFL prospect and the ONLY program offering that level of development is UGA......
GOOOO DAWGS, SICEM!
callaway to lsu.
No biggie...I don't think he is that high on UGA's recruiting board. I'm sure he was a backup-option in case a couple of "silent commits" fell through. He probably held out to see if Oini was gonna commit. Kirby and Bobo can only sign so-many. The ones they like, but, don't have room for...are probably told, 'if an opening comes up, they'll be 1st consideration'.
I believe his commitment to LSU on the same day Oini committed to UGA is a "Positive Indication" that the Dawgs are gonna get the guys they were after.
IMO...It's not as big a deal in the age of "Free Agency", anyway. UGA entered the "NIL/TP Free Agency Era" in the best shape possible. It would be extremely difficult to build a program like Smart's or Saban's, in this era with a program like the one UGA had with Ray Goff...or, Florida has with Napier. Lol
It could take 10 or more years for a team in...say...Florida's position, to build a solid winning program, with players transferring "in & out" all the time. It's disruptive to team chemistry...among other more obvious challenges.
If Kirby ever needs a "position band-aid"...all he has to do, is go to the portal. There'll be a long line of UGA applicants...some may be "Preferred", or former recruits...like Callaway.
