Love Coach Smart and Spurrier-Let's bet $50 grand on each Ga-Fl. game for the next ten years and see who turns out better.

I don't know about yall...but, I'm about sick of "Talking Season". Ready for some football.

BTW...I saw I wasn't the only one, that predicted South Carolina would finish second in the East behind UGA. Or, tied for 2nd, with either Tennessee or Missouri.

And, Bama is expected to finish 2nd or 3rd in the West....unless of course, you're a big time Saban fan that can't see the forest for the trees. Saban is competing against, possibly the greatest collection of Head Coaches and Coordinators, in SEC History. I say, there's no way Saban can stack conference wins, as he once did playing against the likes of Butch Jones and Les Miles.

The SEC Landscape has changed dramatically, IMO. EVERYBODY is looking "UP" at UGA and "Kirby Smart's Program of Sustained Superior Performance". There are a number of teams that are close to Dawg Standards...and very competitive...with each other.

But, Kirby told em in 2021..."We practice to beat EVERYBODY". Nothing's changed, that I can tell.

I think you could be right about this. However, other teams will emerge. I expect South Carolina to be better and they are a dangerous and motivated team. Auburn most definitely will be better and tough to deal with on the plains. Missouri has a really good defense and if they find offense they might put up a good fight.

I think Tennessee takes a step back this year. LSU will be better and Alabama about the same (very good but not great). We have some question marks at qb, dl, and rb. So if we can solve these then we could be championship caliber. We will find out when South Carolina comes to town how good we really are.

I thought Kirby and the 3 players nailed it at the media days. UGA should be proud of how they represented the University and the team.

IMO....South Carolina is a game that UGA can lose, if they take em lightly. Which I don't think is possible under Kirby.

However, they seemed to have made that mistake with Missouri, last year...while Mizzou came to play and took the Dawgs deep into the 4th qtr.. If they're not careful, they could have that same kind of game against the Gamecocks.

I respect what Beamer is doing in Columbia...and, I see guys WANTING to play for Him...and Rattler. They are feeding off each other, and I see that paying off, in a big way, for Carolina, this year. I'm actually pulling for em a little bit, Lord forgive me. Lol

I agree. All the way back to the days of Vince Dooley...you can say one thing about Georgia Student-Athletes. They're "polite, respectful & classy". I don't remember one, single big mouth, in the bunch. At least, not one that hung around very long.
