Georgia wide receivers share honest thoughts on Carson Beck: ‘He’s confident in himself’
ATHENS — Arian Smith and Ladd McConkey both agree about the state of Georgia’s quarterback situation.

Could it be that we have one QB with a very long name......Carson Brock Gunner Beck Vandagriff Stockton???? Does it matter who reads the defense, changes the play, throws the pass, hands off or runs for yardage....We fans are presented with a new paradigm, three elite QB's that are highly skilled and can lead. I contend that all three will see quality playing time and all three will contribute to a successful 23 season which will result in an unprecedented third National Championship. The problem as I see it is the "Fans" inability to accept the new parradigm because we are stuck in a traditional insistence of having one QB/leader.....however, the results of the past two years have demonstrated that a TEAM concept wins championships.....we do it with TE's, OL"s, DL',s, DB's, LB's RB's, WR's and special teams.....is it such a stretch to apply it to QB's?
True...and...I believe the Dawgs are most definitely gonna run out of a 12 (2 TE's) offense. There's no way in hell...you go into the season with the talent UGA has at Tight End...and, "not use it". You don't let any of those guys collect dust riding the bench. Especially when you don't have a James Cook or Kenny McIntosh.
All 4 are good blockers....and receivers. In Bowers case, he could play virtually any position on the field, including RB or FB (QB ???).
They could use Bowers as a quadruple (run, pass, catch, block) threat on one end of the line (to keep the defense off-balance)...and rotate the weak side between Lucky, Delp and Spearlin. All 4...representing possible Elite "receivers, ball-carriers or blockers".
If you had say... [A. Smith, Lovett, McConkey, Bowers. and. "either Delp or Lucky"] ...spread across the field with an empty backfield in a hurry-up offense...which receivers are you focus on? Somebody is gonna be mismatched. It's just a matter of quarterback play, after that.
That's Bobo, IMO.. Lol...I don't know, that UGA won't be able to score on virtually every series...if they wanted to. However...that being said...I don't expect em to start out the season like that. The focus will be in a number of areas that won't allow for a fast paced style passing game.
I expect Bobo to ease into a fast pace air-raid style offense, knowing...he's gonna need to find out which QB and RB's he can rely on, first. There's no hurry....but, i'm sure he wants to be hitting on all cylinders by the end of the Florida game. That was his M.O. during his last "tour of duty". He just didn't have the defense then, that he does now.
Why wouldn't you use your elite, skilled, experienced TE group with 3 WR's...especially when your RB's are having issues developing the skills of a WR. I said, in 2020-21, that Kirby and Monkin were gonna force people to redefine the Tight End position. It's outdated, anyway. The TE used to be a long heavy guy (bigger than a guard...faster than a tackle) that may get 1 or 2 targets per game if he's "Lucky". 'Scuse the pun...Lol
