    So....reading between the lines....Smoke assumed he would automatically get the start being that he was once a 4 star UGA commit but went with Texas A&M and played in 7 games, and he was from KS's home town of Bainbridge and was well connected BUT found that he had to compete with 3 other gifted players .....apparently we discovered and Smoke realized.....there ain't much DAWG in Smokes fight.

    I think it was partly that and I believe he had some unrelated off field issues that Kirby said he wasn't worth it anymore and asked him to leave before the stuff became public and embarrassed the team further.

    A lot of issues & baggage that was only going to worsen. Even if he had been/stayed in school last semester, he never would have dressed for UGA, or would have just taken a roster spot from someone else. Hopefully being arrested earlier this month woke him up & he will get his life turned around. This kid should have been less than 2 yrs from an NFL payday. Now he will be lucky to earn a degree much less play on Sundays.
