Becks totals may not reflect his abilities. As with Stetson, Kirby will speed up the game if the score warrants and run the clock.

imagine Stetsons numbers if UGA played closer games last year.

Even with this fact I think Beck goes for 4000 and 35 - 40 tds. We are such a nightmare matchup mismatch with Lovett, Ladd and Bowers plus the OL should give Beck time to go to his 2nd and maybe third read. Good times ahead.

Recent Heisman finalists have been mostly dual threats. He needs to at least be able to run close to CJ Stroud's level. Otherwise, it's not likely.

Have you even watched his video? He can run better than Stroud.

Oh my goodness, what the heck people...

Kirby won't have to speed up the game with the new rule change. If anything he may slow it down so his backups can get more snaps.

I don't think he runs better than Stroud, but f he can ,then that will be a plenty. We couldn't seem to get CJ to the turf in the Semifinal game. I've watched the last couple of drives they had against us ovr and over, and our DB's and safties just couldnt close the gap on Stroud when he took off. It appeared a few times our guys had the angle on him but they couldn't catch him. That last shoe string tackle by Daniel-Sisvanh on the last poistive gain by Stroud saved the game. If not for that solo tackle Stroud may have scored but most assuredly he puts them in way beter field goal range. A play that hasn't been mentioned near enough. I believe he had just entered the game because Smith had cramped up a play or two before.
