No bad will against Mitchell from me at all. Bell used the right word. Sad. It’s totally understandable for Mitchell to what he did. Just sad he’s no longer at UGA. So I wish him the Very best as long as it’s not vs our Dawgs. Wouldn’t break my heart if he helped TX to devastate Bama !! I can hear the sound of Herbie, Dez, and what ever that other guy’s name is as they pass out and hit the floor !! Doubtful but not impossible that will happen though.P.S. The weird thing is I was just thinking today how much Bell reminds me of AD before I saw this article !!

I can't be upset with a guy who goes back to his hometown area. Same thing happened with Stephenson who went back to Miami. Homesickness and wanting to be with your family are good enough reasons to me.

Good!!! One more reason to pull for Texas. Not that I needed it. Lol

FYI...Blaylock and Seither are playing for Tech...along with Haynes King. They all looked rusty, but, effective, last weekend. This could be a big year for current...and, former Bulldogs. 😁😎

I agree. I think sometimes, we forget...these guys have lives and family outside of Athens. That's why I can't get my shorts in a knot over speeding tickets. When I was in the Navy...I can't tell you how many "speed runs" we used to make, to be with our wives before a patrol.

A.D. Mitchell will always be a DGD to me. Too many big moment catches to be down on him.

In my book, Ad will always be a DGD! Despite the **** orange and horns, I'll take that over a bloviated red pachyderm from a state that made bugger eatin a state past time.....plus a win by Texas will make next weeks Paul Finebaum show "must watch" TV......possible some on air suey-sides! If I were asked to write the game script, it would be AD catching the game winning TD pass to the total shock and awe of the Tuscaloosa faithful.....the ending shot would be a "All My Sons" moving van ,....outside Nick's home.......Not to worry though, Coach Prime is there with a check and ready to move in! HOOKEM HORNS!

Share the same thoughts -- except that I haven't thought of Bell as so similar to Mitchell. He's not as long as AD and hasn't proven a deep passes and chunk play. I guess you're seeing some things that I'm not. :-)

But I'm really impressed by Dillon as a posession guy. Bell's abiility find seams and be a surehanded target on short to medium routes complements the outstanding speed that Lovett, McConkey, A. Smith, CJ Smith, Mews, et al, bring mostly to the Y and Z spots.

I think you might be dead on, with the Bell assessment. He reminds me a little bit of Bama's Metchie a couple of years ago. UGA has the hosses in the WR room this year, to do as they please. IMO

Very similar to the Bama & OSU WR rooms of the last 10 years. Now...they just need to nail down the "football delivery system" [QB]. Beck could be a superstar this year...along with some of his targets. I just need to see what he can do, under "real" pressure.

If Beck somehow falters, though...the Dawgs have 2 very capable options on hot standby. I guess you could say, that "that alone, is pressure". Knowing that you could be one or two bad series' or games, away from being replaced...is pressure.

I watched the UGA game again....and, I gotta say...BVG was very impressive. I saw the "leap of improvement" in his passing game, that he needed to make, to be a "Starting QB". Gunner wasn't bad either, for that matter.

The Dawgs are in good "hands", this year. Lol
