Interesting that Nolan Smith's comment about what a bear does in the woods can be printed but I can say u-gly or st-upid.
The lighter schedule brings a thought what if FSU, USC, Michigan, Texas, and Notre Dame all are undefeated along with the Dawgs. Who would the committee pick? AND Georgia played a 10-2 SEC west champion in the SECC.
Michigan is in because they beat OSU
USC is in because of the last year of the PAC
Texas is in because they beat Bama
why would the committee select Georgia over ND or FSU?
That's a tough one Brooksie.....The Dawgs are in and #1 seed because they are undefeated, to be the man you must beat the man! #2 seed is Michigan for the reason stated and because of Committee bias. #3 is Texas as they beat Bama and the Big 12 schedule is tougher than the FSU schedule and it's devastation in the ACC. ND because they have chosen to be unaffliated and they got beat by USC.....plus it gives the Irish a years worth of cryin!
Agree. If our Dawgs go undefeated, Regardless of schedule, their position as undefeated National Champs should be carried over into the playoffs. You can be assured if it were Saban/Bama they would automatically be carried over with little to no thought at all by the committee.
That’s if the committee withheld any bias, but I honestly believe there is a distinct element of hate and bias against UGA by to many in media. After all Dawgs hurt their darling Nick Saban and Bama, which hurt many in the media’s little feelings. But my message to them is pucker up buttercup cause the Dawgs are gonna roll on to a 3Peat !! Go Dawgs !!
USC plays ND every year, so the only way this happens is if it is Oregon or Utah being undefeated from Pac-12. ND being undefeated gets them in over Michigan I think because they would have two marquee wins (USC/OSU/ maybe Duke???) to Michigans 1 (OSU). Notre Dame would probably be the #1 seed if they went undefeated, and deservedly so with the wins they would have. Georgia would be a solid #2, Texas #3, a dog fight between FSU/Oregon/Michigan for #4.
