The came to play. They represented themselves, their team, and their school. They never gave up. They left with their heads held high and a check for $1.6M.

    Go, Dawgs!

Mike Neu is a cool guy. You note he said SC will give UGA a good tussle. That they will. UGA better have their "Dawgs" in a row next Saturday. I do believe SC's defense is a bit suspect. This game will reveal the real UGA for sure...IMO.

Even with the three INTs ( two were tipped passes) the Ball St. QB played Better than Bama’s QB. Yep I said that. Bama QB ( At This Point) is what many fans here predicted, a guy that can run the ball, has a strong arm, but can’t read defensive coverages very well and not very accurate with the ball.

Give the Ball St. QB Bama’s Offense and he’d be a pretty dangerous dude. At this point in time we might very well see our Dawgs give up allot of yards both on the ground and through the air. Just keep the Points off the board.

Until and hopefully they Will, our Defensive front gets better, we’re gonna have to rely on our LB corps and our Secondary to keep points off the board. AND as the season goes on we’re gonna have to outscore some opponents. I think we’ll be able to do that.

I ask my fellow Dawgs fans to look around the SEC. The Vols had a predicted score of 63-13 vs Austin Peay but the real score ended up being only 30-13. Furman put 21 points on SC.

If you want to step outside the SEC then look at OSU they didn’t exactly dominate in their game. Only one team can be said to really ( I might be missing a team or two) Dominate their opponent in week 2 and that’s the Nittany Lions. They beat their opponent by I think 63-7 or might have even been 63-3. Now that’s dominate in my book.

I’m gonna keep preaching it my fellow Dawgs fans. Just Look Back, look back at the last two Dawgs teams. They had Plenty of slow starts, misfires, hiccups, you name it but we know how the story ended. I think it would be a fair and reasonable assessment to say that one of those Dawgs teams won more so on a Defensive basis where as perhaps the latter one win more so on an Offensive basis.

THIS Dawgs team now is still being shaped and formed. But there are TONS of talent on Both sides of the ball. Who better to shape this talent up than Kirby Smart and his Coaching Staff ?? Go Dawgs !!

They didn’t really get much chance to do so. Once Beck was done (end of the third quarter, iirc), Ball State chewed up much of the remaining clock time.
