“He’s right around 350 — and he’s gone down to get to 350,” Smart said, referring to the same sort of weight challenges as another notable North Carolina defensive tackle recruit — Jordan Davis — once had.

    Seriously?

    Go, Dawgs!

So excited for these young men. Hopefully, they will make the most of the snaps they get. If they work hard in the weight room, on their technique, they may be the next Jalen Carter or Jordan Davis.

Jamaal Flashed. I think it is great he is doing well now. By UF hopefully he can be a force.

Not sure what happened with Cristen Miller last week. Hopefully he is ok. He was playing great up until he had to come out.

Hall, Jamaal, and Kristen. This is the future and we need them now. It will probably be awhile til we get Tyrion back.

The run defense has been hot garbage this year, especially after what we enjoyed the last 3-4 seasons. Its not solely on the line, the LBs have not done well with pursuit either, but the LOS has been anemic on both sides of the ball so far this year when considering expectations and level of competition. Happy we won and I trust the coaches and the process, but time for seasoning the young pups is over. It is time to eat!! Nom, nom, nom!!

Let’s hope that Big Baby has a phenomenal game And provides the hot spark this D line so desperately needs !! They are in much need of a leader. Not only just being vocal but by example.

I realize Freshmen aren’t usually the leaders, but Hey there’s no law against it !! They Need someone to create havoc, make explosive plays, and get their adrenalin pumping !!

I hope the O line embraces the challenge from Ratledge. He IS a leader on that side of the ball. He chastised himself and the whole unit Publicly !! It’s a good thing when players step up and do that and it’s not all coming from the HC. Maybe we’ll see a peed off Dawgs team this Sat.

We all know that the Dawgs are more dangerous when they play with a chip on their shoulder !! NO entitled Dawgs please !! Go Dawgs !!

As I understand it Miller had a cervical spine strain. Supposedly he’ll be back vs SC. We’ll see pretty soon ! Go Dawgs !!
