Nick Chubb carted off after suffering gruesome leg injury, as social media sends support
In the second quarter of Monday night’s game between the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers, Nick Chubb suffered a leg injury that required him to be carted off the field.

Was watching it as it happened. Hate it for him. He looked stronger than ever. If ever there was a role model for kids to follow it's Nick Chubb. Works harder than anyone. Keeps his mouth shut -- no showboating, no jawing, no beating his chest -- just let your play talk for you. He also does so much off the field. Just an all around great person. I don't know why bad things happen to the best of people. Godspeed Nick. Always pulling for you!
Amen !! You are spot on about Nick Chubb he is an Awesome human being !! And Yes should be a role model for young people. I’m So Very sorry to hear of this injury. Though it sounds terrible I hope that somehow, someway, MRI or CT scans reveal it’s not as bad as it looked. I didn’t see it but with yours and other people on Twitter it must be really, really bad in appearance. Prayers for Nick Chubb.
One of our best ever. You'll come back Nick. Hold your head up man. Looked like a cheap shot with the helmet hit right on the knee.
Praying for Chubb. This makes me sick for him. One of the all time greats at Georgia, on and off the field. Stop going for players’ knees when they are tackled. He was already going down.
I hear you Navydawg. I don't understand this backwards world we live in. Give a guy like Watson with a checkered past a max contract but devalue guys like Chubb and Saquon Barkley -- you know, the guys that take the hits and do the dirty work. Makes no sense.
And in a different vocation but same thinking, cut David Pollack and give Pat McAfee his own show and $10 mil !! That to makes Zero sense !!
Tough, tough break. Had to be a **** bama player too, right? Hope it didn't mess that same knee up worse than it was before. Hope its not too severe. I know its severe no matter what, but just best case scenario, you know?
I sure hope Nick has another few years doing what he loves and piling up stats. He has been a RB his entire life, as a very young boy. A natural as there ever has been, he just sees openings developing and if he can get past the line, he hits them like a rocket burst before the defense knows what happened and he is gone while they are looking the other way a lot of times. Vision and instinct.
He is on track to be in the HOF, even with his earlier injuries. If he still wants that, I pray he gets it. He sure deserves that immortality, A Super Bowl ring too. A Nick Chubb bust in the Pro Football HOF. Yeah, that is meant to be. I can see it. And its one of the best in there, as far as really looking like him.
If that is what he wants, man, we got to all lift Chubb up every day and create nothing but mega-positive energy his way until he is back sooner and better than ever. Maybe he will play nearly as long as Adrian Peterson before its all said and done. A least another 5.
Two of my most depressing moments watching football were seeing Chubb’s injuries against that team from Knoxville and now Pittsburgh. Both just horrible injuries, from questionable if not cheap shots, and happening to one of the best all-around dudes Georgia and the game of football has ever seen, not to mention one of the greatest running backs ever. Our hearts go out to you Nick!
I was looking forward to watching Chubb and Pickens light it up. After Nick went down, I had to turn it off. My prayers go out to Nick Chubb. What a great athlete, Dawg, but more importantly, as solid of a human being you will find. I will never forget when Gurley went down and a kid named Nick Chubb got to show his skills, there were 2 UGA students holding a sign that said "We used to be Gurley Girls, but now we are Chubby Girls".
While I hope he does return and makes it to the NFL Hall of Fame, I am certain that he will be a 1st ballot College Hall of Fame.
Suddenly my morning doesn't seem as beautiful. Prayers for a DGD!
Prayers for a great running back and human being.
Nick is and will always be Chubbtown, Cedartown, Athens Favorite Son....you still have so much to offer, Our prayers for a speedy recovery DGD!
Nick Chubb should be kids, especially athletic kids role model. Not Deion the bigmouth. Nick Chubb is the real deal.
Praying Nick has a full recovery, first, and foremost. What a shame to see such a great player go down with an injury.
