Cash Jones the latest walk-on success story for Georgia: ‘He’s awesome’
ATHENS — Cash Jones had no idea what to do with his hands. The redshirt sophomore had just scored a critical touchdown in Georgia’s game against South Carolina, as his 13-yard fourth-quarter touchdown pushed Georgia’s lead to 24-14.

I'm so glad to see Cash doing well! The DAWGS are going to need his play making abilities more as the season progresses..GoDAWGS!
Love me some Cash Jones, I told everyone on our board that he would be a key in our season this year even before our injuries but others argued he is just a walk on. Cash has proven he is much more than just a walk on filling in. He is a very good weapon for us.
Cash is a much better player than what I realized. I think we may have found another gem.
Glad we have him. Still wondering what has happened to Andrew Paul, who was supposedly doing great things in practice before injuring his knee last fall. Haven’t heard any reason why he’s not seeing action this season.
It's great to read such an informative article about a player who usually doesn't get much press. I now know a lot more about him.
Kirby & Company have created a new thing at UGA. We are now Walk On University/WOU.
Go, Dawgs!
Keep cashin' in Cash! UGA definitely becoming "Walk-on U." Amazing.
Agree fully with the comments here !! It’s great to have Cash Jones !! He’s definitely money for our Dawgs !! Also Mews. Both Walk-Ons and doing great !! Proud of both of them !! Go Dawgs !!
I would assume Andrew Paul is still not 100%. Knee rehab is different for each player. While Nick Chubb was ready in a year, some take longer, especially regaining confidence and trust in the knee playing running back. With Dillon and Cash stepping in and playing well, Dell and Kirby might be playing conservatively with Andrew's return. As far as Cash, it sounds like he is a tough kid with skills regardless of his size. With Kenny Mac gone, his help in the passing game is greatly needed. He is yet another example of Kirby & Company being able to identify talent not appreciated by other schools.
Cash cashing in on his playing time. Scholarship should be in his future!
