Kirby Smart is neither naive or ****. And I don’t pick up on even a smidgen of panic in his demeanor or even anger. Maybe a tad of disappointment and a tad of frustration on some points/parts of the team. So he’s Got to know something that me and my fellow fans don’t know. Right ?? He seems calm as a cucumber.

I Know he wants to win more than any of us. In MY mind and opinion I’m thinking and saying on here Repeatedly Man our Dawgs have Tons of work to do and a short time to get it done !! But Kirby just says Yeah we’ve got some work to do. Yeah we need to get better. But he’s so casual and nonchalant about it all. Guess that’s why he’s the HC with a multimillion $$$ contract.

So while I am in panic mode to a large extent, I’m just a fan. I guess I need to Trust Kirby even more !! And to keep from having a heart attack, remind myself Kirby’s got this. One game at a time. Go Dawgs !! P.S. Good to hear there’s Hope on Ladd and some others being back hopefully Soon !!

I didn't watch the game, but I don't know how in the world Kirby or anyone can realistically take away anything concrete or substantial from the results of a game like this one. So far this season, we've had 3 scrimmages against vastly inferior opponents and one game against SC. I still don't know who this team is yet nor how good or bad we are. Thankfully the cupcake games are done, and we can get on with real business in the SEC. The Dawg's true identity will come forth in October. All I can tell from all the negative comments is that we've got a lot of work to do and must get better.

Remember, better never rests...and injuries aren't an excuse.

I am concerned about our interior D-line not getting a consistent pass rush. A team with a really good passing game will be a problem if we don't get interior pressure. While Bear Alexander may not have been a good locker room fit as has been reported, we miss a disruptor on the interior like him.
