Learning the wide receiver position isn’t the only thing that Mecole Hardman has on his plate at Georgia this spring.

The Bulldogs’ sophomore is set to debut with the school’s fourth-ranked men’s track and field team this week.

Hardman’s first meet will be the SEC championships in Columbia, S.C. He is expected to compete in the 4x100 relay on Saturday but not in an individual event, team spokesman Leland Barrow said Monday. Hardman could be used in the 4X100 but could also serve as an alternate.
