ATHENS — Carson Beck had his best game as a starter on Saturday night. It probably should’ve been even better.

I like Carson's confidence. He iis definitely growing in his pivotal role. He does run when he sees opportunity. His range accuracy is improving. Does not seem to get frustrated. I was a solid Bennett fan, but Carson is growing on me.

This one Kirby sentence stood out as he assessed his teams progress as good to great: "I just wish we were healthier." I'll Amen that one, Kirby.

I trust Carson until he gives me substantial Reasons plural not to. A couple of INTs along the way is Not reason to start doubting him. Unless it happens often, And his completion numbers start dropping badly and rapidly.

He probably Will have some bad games along the way. It’s how he addresses adversity and rises to the challenge that matters. FEED the ball to Bowers as often as is possible. We all know that Bowers does great and wonderful things when the ball is in his hands the vast majority of the time. HOWEVER our rivals know this to. So their gonna Try to limit Bowers as much as They can.

So there will be many times where Bowers is double even triple covered. And We as fans might be tempted to get mad and frustrated with Beck and/or Bobo saying Why are we not getting the ball to Bowers ?? Well if he’s double or even triple covered it could be Dangerous to try to get him the ball !!

HOWEVER Bowers is an NFL level player, he Will find ways to slip that coverage from time to time. SO if teams are working hard to cover Bowers it opens other guys up right ?? Yes it does. BUT many of those guys are not the athlete that Bowers is. BUT Some are getting closer and closer. It’s not like we are limited to Just Bowers. SO rival teams Are gonna pay a big penalty for worrying To Much about Bowers as our younger guys get better and better catching the ball,

AND Beck gets more and more confident under center. BUT the moment rivals Take A Risk and ease up on Bowers that’s when he will sting their eyes out with a Big Play !!

I think it’s All gonna come together, just need to Keep working really hard in practice, Chalk the Ws, Hope we get some Injured guys back and Soon, and Hope that the injury bug will fly away some where else.

Winning a 3Peat is Still doable no matter how angry, frustrated, I get, and no matter How Much I rant on the Game Day Live thread going on In Game. If you at My comments There and compare them to Here you’ll see the tale of two people !! 😃 That’s cause I tend to let my emotions of the moment get the best of me !! I Still Trust Kirby, his staff, and this team !! Go Dawgs !!

Against UAB. WOW. Beck needs to improve his long ball accuracy immediately.

Carson is our guy and as long as the injury bug stays away we'll be fine.....improvement continues to come every week though he still seems to be a bit tenuous when it's time to scramble.....as long as the O-Line keeps smackin the sackers and he slides in a timely manner on scrambles he'll be ok. Saturday night, I was hit with something.....what if Griff was given more playing time???? I believe he'd win out over Carson. Guess we'll never know sparing something catastrophic......Griff will just have to wait til next year.......Gunner is not ready.

Beck is doing great, not much more to really talk about. He's not going to be the reason why we might lose a game in the future.
