Our Dawg’s are still a bit shaky looking on defense, but I keep reminding myself this is a rebuilding year! That’s not mentioned a whole lot now!

Considering how badly we beat them on third down, both their third downs and our third downs, it's amazing the scoreboard was so close.

    Go, Dawgs!

Agree with you fully. And I don’t often give rivals compliments, Especially old bitter rivals. But Freeze DID have a good plan, and his players worked Very hard. And the Auburn fanbase was loud and raucous pretty much until near the end. Auburn give our Dawgs all they wanted and then some. I’m So glad that Bowers and some others helped provide the W and get out of there !! Go Dawgs !!

Two observations: First, the Dawgs need to turn up their physical conditioning asap if they desire to play in the SEC championship. Second, looks like Mike Bobo learned nothing from Monken. Running the same mindless run off tackle three plays in a row killing our first possession is flat inexcusable. It is never advisable to hire friends and family. Bobo may well prevent us from any chance of a threepeat.

They generated two field goals that were not the result of turnovers and 30% of their rushing yardage came on one play and somehow the sky is falling in Athens. Are you kidding me? The abundance of elite talent we had on defense in '21 & '22 has spoiled a whole lot of the fanbase..... UNBELIEVABLE! Take the "W" with gratitude and get ready for Kentucky.

I think if we're all honest the jury is still out concerning Bobo. At what point does he figure out his offense? I understand that you have to call some running plays to keep the Defense from just pinning their ears back and getting after your QB but not when you're moving the ball down the field in chunk passing plays and you get to their 20 or 30 and now you feel compelled to call 2-3 runs in a row for no gain? Why take your foot off the gas from what's working and give the defense time to recover? You just lost your momentum! Where is the killer instinct?

Anyone old enough to remember knows that used to happen all the time back in the day. The inexplicable run up the gut for nothing when you're marching down the field throwing it with ease.

Is everyone pleased with our 1st half performances? Our poor 1st quarter scoring? Do we need some more top 3 recruiting classes in order to put point on the board in the 1st quarter? Or do we have the right OC for the good to great players we have?

I seriously believe that Jim Chaney could do as well as Bobo has so far this year. And that's not a good thing to say for anyone who remembers him.

Brock is a stud! Nuff said.

i almost did back flips when they ran the toss sweep. I’m perfectly fine with a balanced offensive attack. Hoping we can do some more pounding on the outside.

one thing that’s lost in the shuffle is how truly hard it is to win at Auburn. In 2021, Alabama had to go to overtime to win. Then two weeks later boat raced our dawgs in the seccg.

I say, clean up the turnovers and let’s go out and put some respect on the name of that dawgs defense.

Brock Bowers deserves serious consideration for the Heisman this year. He will redefine the tight end position in the NFL. He reminds me of Tony Gonzalez but he is even better than Gonzalez was at this point in his career.
