ATHENS — Has the SEC finally lost its national dominance?

Spencer Rattler still the best QB in the SEC 😂🤣😂 I needed a good laugh today. I'd rate Jaxson Dart at Ole Miss, KJ Jefferson at Arksnsas, Jayden Daniels at LSU, and even Carson Beck at UGA, ahead of Rattler. Rattler has 1411 yds passing, 7 TD' s, 3 INT's in 2023. Beck has 1497 yds, 7 TD's, 2 INT's in 23, and a higher QB rating than Rattler. Spencer Rattler has been very inconsistent during his career. 1 game he'll throw for 350 yards and 3 TD's, the next game he gets sacked 6 times, and throws 2 interceptions.
This team is a Head Scratcher !
Rattler is a very good QB. He does not have enough talent around him at SC. Also, if we are going to try to compare… SC has played a much tougher schedule than Georgia. Box scores and stats have some meaning, but they are usually contextual when it comes to individual players.
1 year is not a trend but so far this year our conference is middle of the pack. People are making such a big deal out of 5 games. Let's see how it plays out. I mean we got to give the other conferences something to cheer about or they will just quit playing.
Until I see some consistency of winning from a Lane Kiffin coached team, I'd put the Rebels in Tier 2. Ole Miss has been a wannabe for so long they usually get stuck in the mud.
Too early to tier anyone out this year. It is a great big mystery year.
It all looks very obvious at the end of the season after it all plays out, but not so obvious now.
Kirby doesn't know how good his team is. Neither do the rest of us.
Much the same thing could be said by any coach or fan about their team at this point in the season.
What I do know, and Kirby knows, and you should know is this. We have to get a whole lot better. We might need to improve a lot from last Saturday to this coming Saturday in order to beat Kentucky.
Our game with Kentucky should be a huge midterm exam for the 2023 Dawgs!
As always, football is graded on a Pass Fail system. So far we have straight passing grades, but on any given Saturday...
Go, Dawgs!
I summarize UGA"s year so far as: One unequivocal superstar and the rest trying to get better. Saturday will tell us if any progress has been made.
Go look at Kentucky's Defensive line starters and tell me what tier they are. Seriously, this tier stuff is way overblown. Their O line is crushing people.
Maybe so for UGA, but not a tougher schedule than Ole Miss, LSU, or Arkansas.
