Why do you even mention this. Shame.

Anyways, we have superstars come through here more often than not. I mean if you look at the last 40 years you can find 1 or 2 superstars on offense every couple of years. Same with the defense. Right now it is BB and Malaki and Mykel. Next year it will be someone else. Maybe that Frazier kid, or Williams or Ajonye. We always have studs.

"SEC Network analyst Ben Watson, a former NFL tight end......."

....... and University of Georgia standout and pretty good representative of UGA. Just thought I'd throw that in there since it was missing.

I researched the actual criteria and was only able to find this statement consistently across multiple sites: "Outstanding performance which best exhibits the pursuit of excellence with integrity. Winners epitomize great ability combined with diligence, perseverance, hard work." Nowhere are stats mentioned whatsoever (and, yes, I realize voters get to vote for whatever reason they'd like, and pure stats WILL matter to many of them).

All that said, is there really any question Bowers fits the bill to a T? IMHO, no one in college football today meets those criteria better than BB... it's not just what he does, it's HOW he does it 😁👍
