Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

God please help Coach Richt in his effort to help others! DGD
Mark Richt will Forever be a DGD in my heart. My heartfelt prayers for him and ALL who suffer with Parkinson’s & Chrons disease. I lost a beloved Uncle a Vietnam Vet to Parkinson’s a few years back. It’s a terrible disease.
Chrons is no fun either. I don’t have Chrons but I was diagnosed with Chrons symptomology along with diverticulitis and diverticulotis a few years back, No fun at all !!
God Bless Coach Smart and Josh Brooks for their staunch support of this worthwhile cause !! Makes you even prouder of Dawg Nation !! Go Dawgs !!
It's been said that "all dawgs go to heaven" and they may or may not be true; however, Coach Richt, a DGD, will no doubt find himself there when the Lord summons him home.
DGD's never quit huntin, Coach Richt score another win for you in the record books! Without your leadership and inspiration none of this would have been done!
Heavenly Father we pray for the complete healing of Coach Mark Richt and for his family in the name of our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.😎
If we had known this was going to happen...my Brother and I would've been there, to support. My Family loves Coach Richt and have prayed for his wife since She was diagnosed with Cancer. A DGM (**** Good Man).
IMO...The Mount "Stone-more" of UGA Football has 5 faces....Wally Butts, Vince Dooley, Erk Russell, Mark Richt and Kirby Smart. They might as well, go ahead and carve those faces into Stone Mountain, right now. They can have mini-faces of John Heisman, Bobby Dodd and Bobby Ross underneath, to appease the Beehive in Atlanta. Lol
It warms my heart to read articles like this, in this crazy world we live in now. Mark Richt is a DGD, but even better, he's a great Christian, and human being. You won't find anyone more genuine, and sincere.
Plus, a photo of Kirby genuinely smiling... priceless! It's clear these guys really get along and support each other, something which is not always the case with coaching successors
When I grow up I want to be like CMR! Mighty big shoes to fill!
