Georgia-Florida game projected much closer than first thought by oddsmakers
ATHENS — Georgia football will be missing All-American tight end Brock Bowers in Florida next Saturday, and the bettors and oddsmakers have taken note
Comments
I think this is to draw the suckers in…no more than I know about betting.
the stock market is as risky as I get.
They said Georgia had a Michigan like schedule... With Florida, Mizzou both still with 1-loss and UT with two - 1 to Bama, they need to tear up that false narrative. With that said, I think Bobo will have his boys ready! GOOODAWGS!
……..and don’t forget Ole Miss because they are the highest ranked of all our remaining opponents. Go Dawgs!!!
Florida is very dangerous, and always our biggest opponent - In my opinion. The media gets paid to make up storylines - none of it is true. Anyone can beat you on any given day - Mizzou last year came close to beating a team that won by 65 at TCU. I hope those kids have put in the effort and ignore the hype.
Florida has more talent than people realize, plus essentially playing at home. Georgia better buckle up. Go Dawgs!
Bobo better have a Bowerless scheme that works or it will be along day. FL has greatly improved...IMO. They always play hard against the Dawgs. Folks say: why FL is up and down...so is UGA! First tilt without Bowers..FL will jump on this. Gotta believe Smart, et al, have the answers? Very close game...IMO.
It's nothing more complicated than talent and execution. Which team has the most talent and executes at the highest level? In short, The BEST team will always win given a level playing field.... fair/equally bad officiating. The Dawgs win the talent count hands down. Who will execute at the highest level is directly correlated to coaching and team culture, again The Dawgs win. I am sure WE have committed to memory the video of The Gators beat down by Kentucky and The Dawgs will improve on Kentucky's efforts.....the rest is just sucker bait for those who have more money than common sense.
All I know for sure is that I hate Florida and their superiority complex. Kirby also hates Florida. Will the Dawgs play with enough intensity? If they do, Dawgs win. If not, who knows.
The Mud Lizards are a better team than when they started off this year. But not enough. Dawgs Will win this game, Even without Brock Bowers. We All Know and Appreciate that Bowers is a one of a kind player and a Huge contributor on the Offense.
Yes losing him did hurt. BUT I’m a Believer in Kirby and his staff, and in our Dawgs as players. Guys Are going to step up and fill the void left by Committee. A wounded Dawg is a very Dangerous Dawg !!
I don’t drink but if Anyone whether Dawgs fan or rival thinks this team is just gonna lay down and die, I’ll take a snort of whatever your drinking !! People across CFB talk about it being dangerous to underestimate a team, that’s very true, but it can Also be said about underestimating the Dawgs without Bowers.
I hope our rivals make that critical mistake. And they just Might !! Quite a few in media seem to be writing the Dawgs off as dead in the water because of the loss of Bowers. Good for them !!! Maybe the media will rock our rivals to sleep with that lullaby. then watch in utter horror as our Dawgs put the Big Bite on Em !!
I’m not saying our Dawgs will just coast to victory in Any game, but IF their losing our rivals better wait till time has expired to celebrate, because these Dawgs will fight to the end !! Just Remember the OSU game where many thought it was all over !! Nope !! Dawgs fought back and got the W !! Go Dawgs !! Mash them mud lizards **** heads !!!
Georgia 42 Florida 17
We only need to win by one point. Anything above that is gravy. Personally, I see Beck & Co to hang 50 on the redneck water lizards…
I think Florida has the potential to beat us. It's a rivalry game and they're hungry. But I don't get with some of the comments I see here that they've vastly improved. They got whipped by Kentucky, then recovered to beat Vanderbilt on their homecoming and squeaked by South Carolina by two. To their credit, they did come back from 10 down in the fourth quarter to do so, on the road, but is there any doubt that had they been playing anyone except South Carolina or Vanderbilt, that would not have happened? Again, they can beat us. We need to be ready from the opening kickoff. But to say that they've vastly improved would be a stretch. Now if you want to talk about Missouri, that's a different story. Go Dawgs!
