Dominic Lovett, Luther Burden and the divergent paths the two wide receivers took
ATHENS — If you believe in the multiverse, there’s a world out there where Georgia receiver Dominic Lovett is still with Missouri and Luther Burden is a Georgia Bulldog.

Interesting statistic...Tigers ranked #1 in the country for Red Zone Offense...Dawgs 24th.
It's not just Burden. They've got Wease and Cooper catching a lot of passes. We've got to limit the big plays. Slants seem to be our nemesis.
Their defense averages giving up 300 yards per game passing. We're the best passing offense outside of maybe LSU. Ilook for a big passing day for Beck and our receivers. Our best defense will be to score early and often.
Burden will present some what of a burden to our defense along with the other Mizzou pass catchers. But our defense practices against some pretty good guys to !! I think being pumped up by the UGA fans they’ll rise to the occasion to remove that burden !! Go Dawgs !!!
I saw what you did!
Agree with much of what's been posted here. Been nervous about this game for weeks. Burden is HIM, but he's not flying solo. I just hope we have enough in the tank to counter them. As for Lovett, I was at the game Saturday and he was wide open on a bunch more plays than he got targeted for. A couple of times, it was clear that Beck had predetermined where he was going to throw the ball and Lovett would be running wide open down the field. I predict that he and the offense overall will have a big day on Saturday. The game will come down to whether our defense can take another step forward and shut down Mizzou's offense. Go Dawgs!
With All respect and No sarcasm. But you know that If You saw that, Kirby and staff have Now also seen it reviewing film of the game and will take the necessary steps to correct that. Just sayin.
@DallasDawg
I disagree. The South Carolina game was Missouri's only "very good" defensive performance this season, and it came at home against a 2-5 team. So even if Missouri can put up 28 points, I think that UGA can manage 40. Based on the most recent practice reports, it looks like UGA is going to finally have 3 healthy scholarship tailbacks for the first time since the South Carolina game. Also, I believe that Mims is going to play though he won't start. Am hoping that this results in UGA getting 200 rushing yards.
