God, I hope Eli can muster a game plan to beat the Buckeyes!! That would be sweet!

It will be interesting to see if Harrison, Egbuka, and/or Henderson opt in or out. I can't imagine any Mizzou players opting out. This is a matchup dream for those guys.

ANyone notice the outlier in the odds?

Shows you that FLa St had no business going to the PLayoffs.

Still not sure how Texas loss to Oklahoma was a better loss than ours to BAMA? THe committee had to put Texas in because they felt compelled to put BAMA in. That way they don't have to answer any questions by Texas fans about we beat BAMA on their home field by 10 and you put them in ahead of us?? ANd you put Georgia in ahead os us after we beat BAMa and they lost to Bama?

While sounding reasonabe on the surface, any sport fan worth their salt knows that the BAMA that played on Saturday isn't the same team that Texas beat earlier in the season! BUt rather than try to explain that, the committee just took the easy route.

It wasn't the TX loss that mattered, TX had the best win of the year. AL beat UGA. Great win. But TX beat AL. At home. Greater win. Doesn't really matter when it happened. The committee kept TX ahead of AL all year because of the head to head.

Gotta believe that the committee/NCAA were working behind the scenes to take out a cheating MI. MI/FSU ensures that MI is in the final. MI/AL ensures that MI doesn't win the championship. Karma with the NCAA's thumb on the scale.

The sad thing is that all AU has to do is fair catch a punt and the game is over. One thing that can never be anticipated is who is going to get some lucky breaks. Luck is always a part of it. You just never know when it will hit.

That being said UGA running an end around at its own 11 was asking to blow the game. Bad call and bad execution. CBeck not making sure of the handoff and DBell not slowing up to ensure the handoff added to a very questionable call was a perfect storm of dumb that probably cost the game.
