Sedrick Van Pran isn't in the first round. Hard to believe that.

Since the 2000 NFL draft , 14 centers have been chosen in the 1st rd. Less than 1 per/draft. Center is just not a position that gets prioritized in RD 1. SVPG probably goes mid to late 2nd.

I no longer follow the NFL games. However, I do know the Falcons have the eighth pick in the draft. If Bowers is not projected until 15th, how in the world can they pass on this guy. Someone in charge of knowing how to spot talent and fire up a fan base is seriously lacking in their job. Have been for decades! Go Dawgs!

I'll be surprised if Bowers lasts until the 15th round.

    1) the Falcon's don't pick guys from UGA. Coming to Atlanta already as a fan favorite limits the team's ability to move "assets" (players) as desired w/o upsetting the fan base. 2) the Falcon's already have a high 1st rd RB, high 1st rd WR and high 1st rd TE (Kyle Pitts) in the last 3 drafts.

3?) The Falcon's have been, traditionally, one of the very worst run franchises in the NFL at evaluating and selecting talent for its roster.

Can the Falcons draft a new owner...that's what they really need.
