UGA was ahead by 11 but, alas, blew it and took another L against a top 5 team. I expect too much of GA. Mike White is trying, I'll give him that. If UGA ends season with a respectable record, White may stay. Hard to recruit top players consistently at UGA.

Crap!....I broke another "remote control". I'm not watching em again, for at least 2 weeks. Can't afford em. Lol

Great game, though. That Demary and "The 3-Point Man-Bun" [Blue Cain]....are gonna be special for the Dawgs, this year and next, at least. IMO

    Agree. "Improvement"...by the ton....IMO.

They've got quality depth!....In Basketball!! When was the last time we saw the Dawgs play defense and shoot from beyond the arc, the way they've been doing it, this year?.

    Different Coach....different team.

Even though the Dawgs lost...It is a positive sign that Coach White will have them play competitively.

Dawgs had them right where they wanted them...and then puckered up. Good learning experience and confidence builder at the same time. These Dawgs can hang with anyone. Just need to finish.

They blew an 11 point lead but also overcame a 14 point deficit. Points are points and worth the same amount regardless of what point in the game they come. It's like when people say baseball team blew the lead in a 9th inning comeback. It is still an inning and means no more nor any less than the first inning.

Be consistent throughout and win the whole game, not the 5 minutes.

The bottom line is they choked. Blowing an 11-point lead in the final five minutes is bad enough, but the stat of the game is they missed EIGHTEEN LAYUPS. Try and wrap your mind around MISSING EIGHTEEN LAYUPS IN A GAME. If you make only four of the EIGHTEEN MISSED LAYUPS you STILL win the game. C'mon now.

Hard to recruit at UGA ? How so ? You've got Atlanta next door. Great players all over the state. It sure wasn't hard for Durham or Tubby...or even Crean who brought in Edwards & Wheeler but had no idea what to do with them. As far as the game, they gotta learn to close. And White has to do a better job of putting them in position to be successful. But there will be other opportunities to get signature wins that pay off in March. When's the last time we could say that ?

"Missed 18 layups"....That's what broke my remote control. Lol

I can't stand to watch a team screw up the "basics". A layup is the first shot you master at the ripe age of 6 years old. Then comes the free throw and set-shot. Followed by the jump and sky hook. If they can just make the basic shots and handle the ball expertly....they won't lose many.

Missing an "uncontested layup"...comes with ZERO excuses, IMO. I would have those guys working on layups and free-throws, every day after practice and games... till their fingers bleed. They need to learn to slow the game down, in their mind. Don't get too excited after a score or turnover.

I love how they play defense, though. There's a flow to it, I haven't seen at UGA in over a decade. They play as a cohesive unit. And, IMO...are just a couple of big wins away from finding themselves. Once they start having confidence in their game and play within themselves....look out.

I think they are still trying to find their identity....but, they're a lot closer than they were a month ago and light-years away from where they were over the last few seasons....IMO.
