Jalen Carter led Georgia NFL rookies, Stetson Bennett, Kenny McIntosh didn’t play
ATHENS — Jalen Carter was everything Philadelphia hoped he would be and more, the defensive steal of the 2023 NFL Draft.

I think Stetson could reinvent himself as a slot receiver. Anyone else see the potential?
Lol....why would he do that. He's still a helluva quarterback. Whatever his issue is....it's not playing football.
No doubt Stetson is a heck of a quarterback. He could also be a heck of a slot receiver should it not work out for him at quarterback. That he went so late in the draft at least suggests he's not the quarterback profile the NFL prefers. I'm sure he will do whatever it takes to keep him signed as NFL football player.
I agree with that. I've mentioned that, before, myself. Back before he won the starting job, "outright". He's an athlete, that is capable of playing a few positions on offense or defense.
But, as it turned out....a position change, no longer makes sense. He became one of the best QB's and Field Generals, UGA's ever had.
I look forward to him slingin' it around....somewhere....next year. Who knows....maybe in Atlanta, if they hire Bill Belichick. I know dang well....he's a better QB than Ridder or Heinke....or, Mariota.
We will have to wait to see about Stetson, but we know Jalen is showing up in Philly. He is in for even more snaps in 2024 with 2 veteran D linemen leaving. Philly stole him in the draft as many teams were concerned about his driving issues. Dawg fans know how disruptive he is to an opposing offense and looks like that pattern will continue. Broderick Jones is also off to a good start. An article earlier today from Pittsburgh labeled him a promising star and future All Pro.
I thought that was hilarious. So many teams....specifically Chicago....passing on what everybody knew, was a generational talent and, difference maker. Because, he had a perceived "driving issue".
That's what you call overanalysis by a rookie GM. Reminded me of how they portrayed the "new Jacksonville GM", in the movie...."Draft Day" with Kevin Costner.
Lol....the Eagles played it to perfection.....and, Carter is better off, for it. He doesn't have to carry a loser on his shoulders for 4 years.
@MikeGriffith : I think you should have graded later round guys on a curve. Specifically, Kelee Ringo performed better than the average fourth rounder; for the 105th guy picked, he should have been an A, IMO. Chris Smith and Robert Beal were really Bs, if you consider that they were the 170th and 173rd picks.
