Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

The only question I would have is placing Cash Jones #3.....because of his versatility and proven record I'd place him with Etienne.....but as we all know, rank is as rank does and our RB room is over flowing with break out potential.....likewise our O-Line, after much shuffling positions to find the RIGHT mix....with extra special expectations from Jared Wilson.....this "Diamond has been justifiably over shadowed" for too long! I also look forward to see AEIII rise to "stardom" as a punt returner and receiver! My last expectation.....to see Gunner and Pugs get lots of snaps because of Carson's stellar success.
Just wait til Frazier and Phillips get here. Frazier is hands down the best back we've gotten since Swift or maybe Sony and Chubb.
We're looking better at QB (experience) and RB (health) in 2024, with of course a dropoff at TE.
Both our OL and the WRs could be as strong as last year's, but it's unclear. On the OL, Fairchild, Freeling and Wilson will have to prove themselves. At WR, it's not clear that we have a McConkey-level playmaker or how the No. 2 guys (Young, Edwards, Humphreys) will perform.
The good news is that we're unlikely to have as many injuries and it seems like we're putting enough talent on the field for a couple of them to break out as stars. Plus our PK will be among the best in the country!
Yep. Agree. And though I realize he’s still recovering from his injuries, I think it’s possible at some point as we get into the season Branson Robinson can help us to. He was a real **** hog before he got injured.
I’m also curious about Nate Frazier. I haven’t seen his film and don’t know much about him but allot of fans are raving about him. Lastly just repeating this as already stated by many, Trevor Entienne did pretty dawg gone well on the sorry gators team, imagine what he might accomplish at UGA !! All in all I’m very excited about the Dawgs O !!
Good read Connor !! Thanks !! On Maiava decommit though, his “eventually” was one of the fastest I’ve ever seen Lol !! I don’t so much mind guys decommiting as in the CFB climate as it is now it’s gonna happen Allot to UGA and Every other school. It is what it is. It’s How a guy decommits that can raise my hackles.
I Understand and appreciate that guys have to do what’s best for Their lives. I get that I really do. But for a guy to commit on Monday then decommit on Tuesday. In my ole folks language we call that wishy washy. For Me I don’t really care to see guys like that come to UGA. Because if their “commitment” can change That fast, it can Also change in their commitment on the field.
For example I feel like giving my very all Today, then the next day ( real games or practices) you know I stayed up late last night, I think I’ll just give 90% today, just enough to try to fool coach and get by. We don’t need that kind of inconsistency at UGA.
A guy might not have the talent that Brock Bowers, Ladd McConkey, Kamari Lassiter had, but they Can embrace the type Work Ethics those guys had. And if they do that coaches and fans will notice it. And hard work on a consistent basis Can open bigger doors for a player.
I Know some guys will Never make it big even though they do work hard on a consistent basis. But they Sure ain’t gonna make it big by slacking off !! Hard work consistently played a very large part of what got Stetson Bennett to starter and Jake Fromm, they had that Want To attitude which is Commitment. Just my take…….
I hope you’re right about a reduced number of injuries! We could certainly use a break from reading about those. I would love to see what this team that’s loaded with talent could accomplish with a healthy roster for the entire season.
GO DAWGS!
