“There’s not going to be a day we walk out on that field that Kamari Lassiter is not walking through, that’s not important.”

    What?

“Just three active coaches in college football have won a national championship. I see Kirby and Mack Brown listed. Is something missing here or am I getting too old to comprehend? Go Dawgs!

We're very fortunate to have Kirby as our head coach. He brings stability to the program when everything around him is chaos. We really don't have to worry about him taking off for another coaching job. He tries to get the best players and coaches that he thinks fit the culture he has established. And honestly, you're a bit naive to think that Nick Saban didn't have a lot to do with the way Kirby goes about coaching and building a successful program. To be the best you sometimes have to learn from the best, and there's nothing wrong with that. Nine seasons under Saban is invaluable.

So kudos to Kirby Smart and his philosophy of recruiting, developing, coaching, and building the best football program in the nation.

P.S. Sherrone Moore deserves the Michigan job and would provide some stability to the program during the transition.

Ohio State will be favored to win the B1G and should have a Top 5 team with the players coming back and the portal additions. The only question mark is can Will Howard become an elite QB with the Buckeyes? If so, I see another potential meeting in the Dawg's future.

Although I certainly don’t know, and I don’t think anyone knows for sure. But for 2024 it looks to me to be boiling down to UGA, OSU, TX, and some dark horse ( Oregon maybe ??) to be the four top contenders.

If the historical norm happens both Bama and Michigan will be set back At Least one year by changing HCs. So in the end the crown is there to take for our Dawgs. Just my humble opinions, nothing more.

And come August 31 it is the Goal of every Dawg to extend Dabo's tenure in obscurity and irrelevance ......we need to pack Mercedes and make it just another HOME game as we skin the err-ange Tiga's!

“We’ve got a lot of really good leaders going into next year because they got to learn from these guys, and these guys learned from the guys before them, If that’s passed down and that culture is created, it’s a really good thing,” Smart said......Culture is sown by our coaches but cultivated by our practices, nourished by our ravenous fans and harvested by our DGD players with WINS!

Michigan is probably going to face sanctions that might include forfeiture of the national championship and that is why Harbaugh is jumping ship.

The Kirby metric is sustainability. He is flexing some on the portal and even NIL. But his innate drive is to develop the youngsters he woos as new recruits. Creating players League ready. It is a bit of the old school in him I so admire. I am from the days of a two platoon system in HS. Today, college ball is mainly about specialists in player and coach. The evolution of college football to me precursors a prep school for NFL duty. Now the incentive bar has been raised to heights previously untested. Kirby, to me, is evolving with this new recruiting flux in a way that still produces the elite brand of football from a coach who demands the rough and tumble, head banging practice sessions he knows will still win most battles on the field between them versus us. Kirby is king. Georgia is a program he machined to a fine edge. Two natties back to back and likely a third in 2024 in less than a decade. I had no idea, personally, when he took the reins of Georgia football that he possessed this innate leadership coaching acumen. Yes, well practiced, but innate nonetheless. What a coach and human being. I watched a video by his wife, who shared the costs of living the invested life Kirby and the family now enjoy. He makes millions but believe me it is earned, yet he makes time for his family and his community. A man with values we all should possess.

    Go Dawgs!!!
