Netflix review: Resident Alien

Just finished the first two seasons of Resident Alien on Netflix and I'd say it's one of the funniest shows I've seen in a long time. Every episode has laugh out loud moments. So many great one-liners and quirky characters. It's about a space alien who came here to destroy Earth but ends up crash landing in Colorado and gets stranded. With no way to leave he adopts human form and becomes a small-town doctor. No spoilers, but he is torn between completing his mission to kill all humans and increasingly discovering feelings for humanity. The creator of the show was one of the main writers of Family Guy so there is a lot of quick wit exchanges and unexpected twists. One of my favorite themes is the alien's distain for children. If you like sci-fi and sitcoms, this is for you. Seasons 1 and 2 are on Netflix and season 3 just started on the syfy channel and Peacock.

I haven’t started season 3 yet, but I enjoyed the first two seasons.

When he called the kid a "$Hit pocket" I almost spit my coffee out.
