King Crimson's New Lineup

King Crimson is going on a Fall tour with an incredible lineup. Unfortunately, Robert Fripp will not be joining the team and instead will be replaced by Steve Vai. For drums Adrian Belew has recruited Danny Carey from Tool. Rounding out the lineup will be one of my favorite bassist - Tony Levin.
Rick Beato interviews the new lineup.

lmao I was wondering where the tool connection was gonna be before I opened this up
I knew you'd love it.
casanova farts would have loved it too. Big Tool guy
I’m a big fan of all the musicians above, but it’s hard for me to imagine KC without Robert Fripp.
On another note…I loved (and got to see) Adrien Belew’s work with Talking Heads. A lot of music coming off that stage.
Sammy Hagar is touring this Summer doing Van Halen with Satriani, Micheal Anthony and Jason Bonham. I'm likely hitting the Nashville show.
Satriani rules
I just saw Steve Vai and Joe Satriani together Tuesday night. The amount of musical genius on the stage at one time was mind blowing. I'm catching the Sammy Hagar/Satch show in Charlotte this summer.
Agree, Fripp was/is an integral part of the band and the primary creative force over the decades. That said, this is still a heck of a lineup. They're only focusing on the music from 3 particular albums so Steve Vai has plenty of time to learn the parts.
Nice. They are hitting Alpharetta in July but unless there's no indoor alternative I've about sworn off Summer outdoor concerts. Last one I went to was ZZ Top in Tuscaloosa July '21 and I'm not sure I've ever sweat like that.
My guess this song will be on their playlist this Fall.
I took my wife to a show there last summer (July) and it was brutal.
