You want the FU/UGA game in Athens every other year? Start boycotting the game. 3 or 4 years of stands being 90% full of Gator fans should get the attention of the UGA AD. If you don't take a stand don't complain about what you get.

Am assuming by "…don't complain about what you get" that you're not referring to me? I've been once in 25 years.

First, I am 100% for home and home but killing a tradition….."The World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party" will never garner enough boycotters to ever be noticable…..I haven't been since I was a student 73-76…..Thank GOD, I've amended my wayward ways and now have no tolerance to be in the world's largest Drunk Tank, but it seems to me our idiot yutes are an ever growing population……IMHO……home and home occurs when the current contract run out and both school presidents, AD's and HC's say NO MORE!

Don't "assume" right? I was referring to ALL UGA fans. Obviously it would take more than 1 UGA fan to affect change. It would take most/all UGA fans. There are other ways to supplement this effort. Withhold donations to the University while letting them know WHY you are withholding donations.

I guess some UGA fans like the notoriety of the "WLOCP". But the "tradition" is not helping UGA recruit or infuse the GA/Athens economy with millions of dollars spent in Jax every year. UGA sets a bad example by lining its pockets at the expense of the state.

But sports fans, more than most, are sheeple following along blindly with the crowd. The discontent regarding the inequality of this situation has barely risen above a murmur from fans and an article here and there on Dawgnation. The fans are doing nothing to "encourage" a change.

But I agree w/ @GtheGreek that this situation will probably change when the currently extended , 2 year contract expires in '26. More so because the spotlight shined on the arrangement is embarrassing to UGA. More and more it focuses on the inequality of the situation. The spotlight draws attention to the situation and shows UGA's selfish greed over something that would benefit the entire state. I would never expect anyone at FU to push for anything except the current status quo. It is too good a deal for FU.
