Georgia couldn't sustain offensive drives. Super poor offensive planning - very vanilla. Typical of Bobo, which was strange, because he didn't have a bobo moment until that game. On the other side, if you hold a sec championship team to less than 24 pts, then you have a shot. They didn't stop them. Of course the officiating was an issue, but you can't change that.

I agree with jdat13 in that after scoring very easily on our first drive against Bama, our offensive play calling went very conservative. That went on frustratingly for the second and third quarters. Then, when pressed because we were behind, we opened up on offense and scored easily. Needed to keep pedal to the metal the whole game. If we had, I believe IMHO we win that game.

Do you think, maybe...they HAD to shift to a more conservative offense, due to injuries along the offensive line and some of their best skill-players.

Mims went down on the 13th play, McConkey and Bowers came into the game at less than full speed and y gaggravated existing injuries early in the 1st half. I'm sure there were some physical limitations, you'll never hear a great HC complain about.

When you lose your most experienced players....you lose more than half your playbook....not to mention the various challenges to offensive timing.

All of those little injuries and negative nuances, added up to a loss for the best CFB Team in the Country....and, they were penalized for it...so that the CFP Committee could make a statement with FSU and please their ESPN Overlords. I'm just sayin'.

I'm not gonna let history forget how the 2023 season and CFP were compromised and corrupted by the D1CFB Puppet Masters. If we weren't already headed toward a 12-team CFP.…2023 would've surely warranted a change in playoff format.

In 2023....the "best team" didn't win...cause they weren't allowed to play. That's my "Truth to Power". UGA was at the very least..."2023 National Co-Champion".
