The best path to prepare for the NFL goes through Athens Georgia and The Georgia BullDawgs (UGA, UGA, UGA!)

7 0f the 17 are UGA commits, I'm betting that when it's all said and done and speculating all of these young men have serious aspirations to play professionally, The Dawgs will snag at least 7 more……especially the 4-stars given the success of recent 3-4 star Dawgs in the NFL draft………I see Darren Ikinnagbon/New Jersey making the commit before Isaiah Giibson, which is a real head scratcher… Isaiah is a Georgia product who has committed a renowned defensive weakling/USC…. despite having one of the best defensive schools in America in his backyard salivating over him????

Their new D coach, Eric Henderson is selling the line that he "coached" Aaron Donald. They have also said they have the #1 business school in the country which they don't but they do push the Entrepreneur program that seems to interest a lot of kids. And it is hard to argue against the strength of the LA market in terms of financial opportunities during and post career.

Kirby knows that his strong suit is getting developed at UGA to earn that 1st round NFL money and the team concept that seems to disappear when kids focus solely on NIL.

Very excited to have 14 of the top-rated 308 rising seniors in America coming to campus. I'm pining to see more of these guys commit.

By the On3 "Prediction Machine" (which guesses right more often than not), we're the overwhelming favorite to bring in four of these guys (Z. Walker, T. Taylor, T. Smith, Gaston), have a slight edge on one (Wynn), and are a heavy underdog for four (Ewald, Carroll, Brooks, Robinson). Then, of course, there's Gibson, who's already committed to USC.

I'm particularly happy that we're heavily favored to bring in the ninth (Taylor) and 11th (Smith) WR prospects. That's progress.

The seven current commits (out of the nine we have so far!) plus five favorites equal 12 out of these 17 visitors. That would be quite a haul.

Still, even if we were so lucky, it would be great to flip Gibson as icing on the cake. By all accounts, he's a great kid and a monster edge (263 lbs). I definitely can be fooled by high school tape and the competing blockers seem tiny, but to me he looks very quick and powerful either from four-point or two-point stance, turns the edge very fast, and tackles with authority.

Disappointing, of course, that he commited to USC. Bright lights and big city brings lots of attention and NIL. USC is a good — and rich — school. But Riley has a poor track record on developing defensive players, and USC has produced precisely one first round defensive player going back at least four years.

I don't think Bear "1.5 Sacks" Alexander found the glory he was looking for over there. Had he stuck with Kirby, he might have anchored a national championship DL.
