Really hope this is another Bolden situation. This young man is an outstanding player and individual and I would love to see him in red and black instead of garnet and gold. Some negative comments here but this seems like a hard working young man that takes nothing for granted and will be a monster to cover. Really hoping he decides he wants to play against the best every practice and win with teammates that will be there to the end through thick and thin.

Unfortunately, there's some buzz that Travis Smith is enamored with Tennessee.

I'm bummed about CJ. He's fast and big, and runs routes well. High upside.

Who knows, though? Maybe, CJ will change his mind just like Gibson. And maybe the rumors about Travis turn out to be just rumors.

I'll reserve judgement until signing day. what these teenagers say today means nothing until it comes time to sign their LOI.

Wiley and Taylor are the 2 5 star talents. We got Taylor which is a monster get. Blackshear is really great as well. Rolden might commit and he was supposedly timed at 4.4 or someting.

Wiley would of been nice. You never know why kids do what they do because some of them are 16 or 17 years old. I mean before my senior year started I was 16 and didn't always make the right choices.

We still are in this, but if not, best wishes to him and when we meet FSU again lets' go for 80 on those guys. The team we are building this year will most likely be #1 without him and we were number 1 last year and number 2 in recruiting the year before. The amount of talent and depth we have now is unreal.

    3 for 4 in 24. National Champs!

I think the main reason CKS doesn't hire TEdwards is because he doesn't have the experience coaching or recruiting at an SEC level. With the difficulty UGA has recruiting wr's, UGA has to have an ace recruiter and coach at the wr position. TE has not proven to be that yet at the SEC level. McClendon and Hankton had their shots and couldn't produce. Nobody cried when they moved on. Jury is still out on Coley though he has a track record for recruiting success. Commit TTaylor is higher ranked than Wiley.

Same with Hines Ward. Plus Ward being a big name is to his detriment. 1) UGA program is built on UGA being the biggest name. Nobody is bigger than the program. Everybody blends together under the UGA banner into the team and their own position groups. 2) Ward is not hungry enough to be a UGA assistant coach. He is financially secure from a long NFL career. His days of eating off the floor are long over. Being a CFB assistant coach is one of the most demanding jobs there is. 24/7/365 recruiting, coaching, playing psychiatrist, baby sitting, it never ends. CFB assistant coach is a not a job for everybody and certainly not for anyone that wants a work/life balance. As a UGA assistant coach there is very little work/life balance. There is only UGA football. If that is not your sole mindset you won't be happy or successful working for CKS.

Oh yeah. It’s a 5 hour drive (minimum) from Milton to Tallahassee. If you’re lucky and can get through Atlanta without sitting on 285 or the downtown connector.

It would be a hassle for the family to fly as well

But, I guess his NIL money can go to Delta

This is a head scratcher for sure, maybe $$$, maybe being a big fish in a small pond (ACC). Either way, I hope he rights the ship.

Hope he is happy with his decision. coulda been a good dawg but we will do well without him.

Big fish in a little drying up pond…..he'll do well and maybe sooner or later he'll get a whiff of the roses up north in Athens and change his mind or use the TP……just picked up Tyler Williams…..a "WANTA BE A DAWG" attitude with a mighty good reason to work to become elite! Plus Tyler want to play wherever he's needed….X,Y,Z Special Teams…….not a clue about KS & TE????

FSU players upset about the playoffs snub opted out of the bowl game with Georgia. Georgia players set their feelings aside to play together one more time. Which program has the winning mindset?

Tallahassee is a dump and FSU is a lousy school. Athens is a great place to live and get an education. NIL is more than likely the reason he bailed on UGA.
