Etienne is a game changer. We also have Roderick Robinson. Maybe Frazier will also be a game changer. We should get to see him against Tennessee Tech and see what he has.
Offense looks very high powered. Probably the best offense in the country.
Highly doubt he is suspended for the opener. He likely sits against FCS opponent. We’ve seen Smart smartly do this before.
It's all about contrition and demonstrable change…..from what I'm hearing Mr Etienne is a changed, focused, come hell or high water committed to become a DGD ……and our next 1000 yd RB……I also hear that there are others in the RB room with the same focus…..competition is so good!
A running back that could really blow open a game has been missing. Etienne, Robinson(s), and potentially one of the freshman will make our offense even more difficult to contain. Defenses simply will not be able to keep their safeties and corners too far back. Opposing linebackers will not be able to be a yard deeper to help with covering our passing game. This really will open up the middle of the field for our passing game which Beck excels at hitting those throws. Lovett, Bell, and the Tight Ends are going to have monster years because of our running game.
We all have seen what Etienne could do with an average OL at Florida. What he will do with our OL here is going to be something to behold. And it is not just 1 guy…possibly by middle of the season we will 3 or maybe 4 top notch running backs toting the rock. The second team OL is probably the best 2nd team OL in the country as well. So the days of just running out the clock are going to be us throwing another 2 tds on top of many of these teams. These freshman running backs are hungry and so are our 2nd and 3rd team OL. Hungry with BIG appetites. We're gonna eat this year!
