Without help from officials on the field that record would be at least 3-3.

Bama has become the Dawgs' biggest rival. DeBoer is now out-recruiting Kirby if you look at current 2025 recruiting rankings which has surprised some but not those who know how talented a coach DeBoer is and what he has been able to do with much less talent in the past. Those Tide boys may end up picking up just where Saban left them…without skipping too much of a beat.

Dawgs need to bring the heat and get some payback for a game we should have won last year.

sorry guys, have to disagree! In the words of CKS, they are all most important and if you start peaking ahead, humility is a day away! Alabama is no more important than Ball State

Agree with what you said. If you are a UGA fan 1) you have to acknowledge that DeBoer is doing better than expected. Most importantly you have to hope that 2) DeBoer will not be able to impart the unbeatable mindset and preparedness that Saban so magically infused in his team so consistently over the years.

Cannot give DeBoer a foothold in SEC country. Have to establish the new order from game one between the teams. No better place than establishing that order than in AL home stadium. After AL controlled the '23 SECCG, this game may be an indicator of how the rivalry will evolve over the next decade.

This article hits the nail squarly on the head. Admit it or not, Alabama has had Georgia's (and Kirby Smart's) number for decades now, perhaps forever. If UGA really wants to be a perennial national football elite, they must go into Tuscaloosa and slay the dragon. People have suggested that Bama will bow once Saban retired. Well, the new coach hasn't missed a beat. He has the second best recruiting class in the country now with no less than five 5-star recruits compared to UGA's two. The elite recruits will continue to choose Bama until UGA sheds its fear and choke factor when playing Alabama. The Bama game is definitely the most important this year. Rated #1, if they go and choke in Tuscaloosa (again), many, many college football opinion leaders will sink UGA's rating like a lead balloon as it will just validate the predictive dominance of Alabama. So the Bulldogs, and the Bulldog Nation, need to focus NOW and get ready to PHYSICALLY DOMINATE the Tide this year.

You know My_Dawg_Ryan, you're correct…in an overall sense…who the hell are the "boo Birds" that took offense?????BUT the reality is Bama will be the most prepared opponent we face…..a Bama win will allow DeBore leeway to lose more than three games and not have the moving vans show up at his home….a loose to the The Dawgs means the Tide/DeBore had better not lose more than two or three. In the minds of every DAWG that makes the trip to Tuscaloosa, CKS will instill the "WE ARE THE HUNTERS" mentality, but in every player, coach and fans heart……IT"S PAYBACK TIME!
