ATHENS — Championships are won in the offseason, and for star quarterbacks like Carson Beck, NIL dollars are made.

You know, it’s easy for some to look at Beck and see this kid making millions and seeming all Hollywood and “high and mighty” but the fact is, he DID sit three years and he DID get jumped in the depth chart but he stayed the course and he fought. He fought hard and he deserves every accolade he gets.
Personally, I am no fan of NIL. I think it ruins college football but I am a huge fan of Beck. This young man believes in the University of Georgia, his coaches and his teammates and he is the definition of a Dam-n Good Dawg.
First a Lambo and now a Private Jet Company. Too much bling there Carson.
I'm fine with anybody maximizing the money they can make. I just hope he has put in as much time getting better at his craft and his leadership skills as he has his NIL endorsements.
Good for Carson. Now let's get on with the season and go for another natty. On another subject, David Sanders Jr. committed to the vols today, yet there isn't any mention of it on this site. I gathered from previous articles that he was a recruit UGA coveted. Why isn't there an article about his commitment? Also, could someone else comment on this? When I click on "read the story", I still have to click around the button to get it to actually connect and go to the article.
BTW - I hate the vols.
don’t think anyone thought Sanders was ever going to commit to the dawgs hence no article.
IMO...We didn't miss a thing and neither, did Dawg Nation. Lol
Give it a minute and a lot of the current commitments will change. Still a lot of negotiations to be done, between now and Early Signing.
Although....Kirby seems to be happy with his haul, so far. I have a feeling, he's gonna pick up at least 2 more 5-star athletes, between now December.
With NIL and the transfer portal being what they are....I don't see as much value in Signing most of the QB's coming out of HS...as there was prior to the rules changes. Not when,....a Program like UGA can pick up 2 or 3 experienced, quality QB's out of the portal, every year.
And, NO.…the quality of product on the field, won't be what UGA has witnessed over the last 3 years. Due mainly, to lack of continuity in leadership. UGA's QB room has been rock solid for the last 4 years....and getting stronger.
I just hope the Dawgs continue to get the kind of commitment and buy-in, they've been getting...from whoever they decide to put in the QB room. As long as they have the tools....Smart & Bobo will teach em how to play QB in a pro-style offense.
Go Big Red!
