ATHENS — Carson Beck had his least productive game as a starting quarterback. Georgia scored just one touchdown. The 63 first-half yards were the fewest of the Kirby Smart era.

The team that played Kentucky on Saturday night will get crushed by Bama. Bobo already had a bad moment in the SEC championship game, with 2 quarters of bland play calling, not adjusting to Bama's adjustments. And bobo didn't adjust at all against Kentucky. Kirby needs to bring in a co-offensive coordinator or at least a analyst to help Bobo. I'm more concerned that they haven't recruited well on the offensive line. How many 3 stars have we landed and how many 5 stars

Coach Hayes explains it all on his video - we had several home run plays called and the O line just **** in the execution. You're never as bad as you look. Never as good as you think.

We need to fix following issues to have a chance against Alabama,

    1. Beck needs to improve his accuracy on the long balls, the ones he needs receivers to run under it. He does a reasonable job with those "dart throws". But the long balls, he mostly overthrew them last year. He had more under throws this year but need more accurate throws.
    2. OL needs to play better to open up more running lanes and give Beck more time to throw. Part of the inept offense is the lack of running game, and Beck gets rattled a little bit with not enough time to throw.
    3. Both DBs and Front seven have improved, especially at our half of the field. But we still lost contain too often on both their RB and QB runs. I thought it was the speed issue at LBs last year. But I think it has something to do with our LBs having to supplement the DLs too much at the inside this year. Hopefully, with more bodies at DL able to play in two weeks, we can do a better job to contain the runs by Milrose.

KY DC confused CB all night with their coverages. Number 11 for them was pretty much unstoppable. They were better prepared and coached up than we were. We won becausewe have more blue chip athletes on our team than they do. Not because of us outcoaching or scheming them on our part.

Will be watching the BAMA game peeking through my hand.

Kentucky outplayed (muscled) us, we outscored them. Milroe gave us fits last year and probably will again. We will most likely have to score more than one touchdown in order to beat Bama, Texas and Tennessee. Won't happen should our Kentucky performance be repeated.

BAMA is absolutely gonna kick our collective….if our team doesn't get things together quickly. This is shaping up to be another embarrassment at the hands of the tide. I agree with what some have said on another column on this site. Brock should have been the starter this year. He has emotion, passion and loves the game. He cried when he had to tell Kirby he had to leave. He is also a good runner and has a great arm. CB is not a come from behind QB. Heck, we can't buy a TD in the first half of games. Does anyone think the score in Tuscaloosa in two weeks will be 0-0 at half time? heck no, we will be struggling and BAMA will jump ahead 14-0 and we will not have the offense to come back. I hate it, but I think this is another example of Kirby choosing the WRONG QB to lead this team. Another 5-star QB has left and we have Don Johnson as QB1.

Couldn't help but think that Brock and JDJ had the cheat codes for slowing down the offense. I think we'll see the Dawgs best in Tuscaloosa.

I agree with pretty much all the comments here. I’m Very concerned about this team, especially the O, Very Concerned. My great hope is that we can get Brinson, Mykel, and R. Robinson back and hopefully fully healthy before facing Bama. Getting them back would be a big booster shot. Also the Entire UGA coaching staff needs to work their azzes off to coach these kids up. There’s just to much talent for the shoddy showing we had at KY. Dawgs need Vast improvement and only a short time to do it in. I hope I’m terribly wrong but Beck Might, I say Might be over rated, I’m in wait and see mode though, not ready to throw him under the bus yet. Our O line ought to be totally ashamed and embarrassed, they were thrashed by KY defensive front. Come on Dawgs have some pride and ramp up your game big time, PLEASE !! Go Dawgs !!

folks. Go to YouTube and check out Coach Hayes analysis. Watching video with him gives you a whole different perspective on the offensive line play. (Chris Hayes. Coachhayeshudl
